Service Description

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program is a fun and educational class designed to give puppies and their owners the best start possible. In this class, you’ll learn the foundations of positive reinforcement training while building good manners, confidence, and focus in your puppy. We’ll cover essential skills such as sit, down, come when called, leash walking, and polite greetings, along with important life skills like handling, self-control, and socialization around people and other dogs. Each week includes opportunities for learning, play, and problem-solving, with plenty of guidance to support you at home. Upon successful completion of the class, you and your puppy will be eligible to receive the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy certificate and be on your way toward future training and achievements such as the Canine Good Citizen program.
